Where Things Are

Sitting alone in the walls, there was a mouse. His name was Ryder, Ryder was a small but brave mouse. He was on adventure to find a miracle, cheese! As he crawled through the thin and dusty walls he came to an opening. Ryder peeked out to see cheese. He stared slowly crawling over to it.

“DONT TOUCH THAT CHEESE!” a much bigger mouse yelled.

Ryder listened but he still wanted the cheese. So, he kept crawling over to it. As soon as he touched the cheese, he saw a big mettle pole coming to him, then he quickly moved!

    Hi Amelia,

What a great job you did! Well done on successfully using the technique of the week, a “Where Things Are” sentence to begin your writing. You are already a skilled writer, who can use interesting and precise vocabulary to create a real atmosphere in your story. I like the cliff hanger at the end, too. Keep on writing!
